Does anyone have more information on the process of obtaining permanent residency in Barbados through purchasing land or property there? I am American, and I am considering buying property. Will I be able to live at my property all year long if I want to?

I have a piece of land and I wanted to plant herbs and vegetables for the local supermarkets, restaurants etc or build some nice log villas for renting to tourists.
