Is It Better For A Young Australian Family To Live In Juffair Or Amwaj Islands?
I am looking for property and have shortlisted these two areas, each has its own pros and cons, but I’d love the feedback from some people who live in Bahrain.

I lived in Australia for 3 years and I know what you mean by young Aussie family, mate.
Ok you need somewhere quite and close to schools. Amwaj is quiet alright but not so close to an English school, the closest one is a French one in Busaitain (20 min drive from amwaj) so unless you would fancy your offspring’s to be taking Bonjue all their life you may wanna go there.
Juffair on the other hand is very crowdy your kids will grow up talking crap in no time. but you will be close to their schools at least.
My recommendations somewhere in the middle I know a place in Hidd (area near amwaj and not far from Juffair) Its quiet and also 15 min drive over the bridge and you will be in Juffair. Lots of Americans also live there because its close to their base. Its new area too.
You might find a house for rent there, go to the intersection that takes you to the Sh. Khalifa Bridge and look to your north west .
I would take Juffair wer you are close to all the area’s cuz Amwaj is new and new means no much ppl and more expensive!!!Amwaj is far so to go out shopping it is far cuz all d malls are in the centre!!!
Big difference between the two areas. Juffair is maily liked by Americans because their base is located there. But I woul not recommend you to live there because it is very busy. Amwaj is a quiter place but a bit far from city center. Depends how you wanna live, quiet and far from the crowd, or close to them. For me, I prefer Amwaj of course, it is a newer area and much quiter.
