Anyone Been To Bulgaria? Anybody Know A Place Called Chernozom?

It is in the hills i think. The name means black soil. Does this mean there has been a fallout here? some one is selling a property there for cheap….is this because its crap there or even deadly?Who thinks its a good idea to buy this place? 5ooo grand!

  1. Chernozem means black soil, which is considered to be very fertile. Chernozom doesn’t seem to exist. Looked it up on Encarta.
Might be a transliteration problem – i.e. converting the Russian alphabet to the Latin. It has nothing to do with Chernobyl, except that before the disaster the soil around Chernobyl might have been chernozem.
Bulgaria’s a great country and they’re very friendly. Don’t know direction of wind on day of disaster or in the following weeks.
