Is China Customs Very Strict?

I want to order something from Brazil and I need it sent it to China, it is a pownder made of mushrooms. it has medicinal properties but it comes with no description of the product on it.

    Not to worry , Dexter !!
    Chinese Customs officers are well aware that powders sent through the mail , or by courier , are simply health supplements ……. or used for baking , such as Baking Soda , flour , flavoring , etc .
    Powders from mushrooms should be no different ! I`d say go ahead and have the stuff sent .

    That depends, I have carried vitamins and other things into China without any problems.
    If they think it could be drugs they may seize it, but if they know it is a supplement it should get through.
