Should Jewish Refugees Be Compensated For Land And Property ???
Aproximately 600,000 Jews sought refuge in the State of Israel. They arrived destitute, but they were absorbed into the society and became an integral part of the state. In effect, then, a vertible exchange of populations took place between Arab and Jewish refugees. Thus, the Jewish refugees from Arab countries (SYRIA EGYPT IRAQ MOROCCO YEMEN TUNISIA LIBYA ALGERIA) became full Israeli citizens whereas the Arab refugees who fled their homes in Palestine, remained “refugees“ unaided by the neighboring Arab countries.
OR SHOULD THERE BE AN EVEN TRADE. ????

You are spot on – and more details on the Jewish refugees can be found at http://jew-with-a-view.blogspot.com
Jews were kicked out of all Arab states; some of their families had been there for thousands of years. I have Israeli friends whose mother’s family is from Iraq originally – they were chucked out and overnight lost their homes, their jobs, their friends, EVERYTHING.
Israel, a tiny country, absorbed them all. Yet ALL the Arab countries combined REFUSED to do anything to help the Palestinian Arab refugees who were ordered to flee their homes by the Arab leaders of the surrounding nations who attacked Israel in 1948. Shameful.
And this absurd myth that ‘millions’ of Palestinian Arabs lost their homes is just that – myth. ~The area that is now Israel was ALREADY home to a JEWISH MAJORITY. They had been working the land for decades and had bought it fair and square from absentee Arab landlords.
The arab ”refugees” as such never actually had to leave their homes in palestine, they were urged to move by other arab states, in fact some of the first to go were political leaders…
many ”refugee’s” did actually return, and many declined to as well, even when they were offered their homes back.
under the nationality act of 1951 they were granted citizenship rghts in israel… yes they were under military rule… the whole country was and still is…
i am not actually sure what i believe as to your question, but there are the facts. it does, although, seem a bit strange that out of all the land ( much uninhabited i must add) that the arab population as a whole own, such a fuss is being made of 10,000 square miles!!
Stop playing the victims role. There is nothing called Jewish refugees, those who left were not forced out of these countries they all travelled on their own will! not like Palestinians who had their homes burnt and massacred by Israeli gangs like the Ergun, Hagana and other outlaws.
Its only a matter of time that these Palestinian refugees will be back in Palestine. You do not trade something you don’t own!!!
The knowledge I have is the truth and truth can hurt but you have to face it!
NO, a big NO, want to know why?
I tell you why.
Because the Roman made you refugees once 1500 years ago and so you fled to Egypt , Yemen and Russia ,
But now you are returning back home.
You should pay these countries for providing you safe heavens for 1500 years and helping you to return back to you homeland.
Lucky you, they just let you go.
Case dismissed
Next suspect please
Edit: You returned back home only for this case. In other cases, it is not your home anymore.lol
Are Palestinians the first refugee population in history? Hardly. But they are surely the first refugees who, as a group, have categorically resisted resettlement, instead living for decades as wards of the international community. Indeed, in Gaza today, years after Israel renounced any territorial claims, there continue to be refugee camps. Why? Why — other than to serve as incubators for hatred that produce recruits bent on martyrdom and mayhem — are there Palestinian refugee camps in Palestinian territory?http://www.aish.com/jewishissues/middlee…

You Jewish people are …amazing!
Someone asks the craziest question ever, and because it includes the world “get” or “compensate” and “Money” going in to Jewish pockets you try and give the most absurd answers in order to support that notion.
It’s OK I am not blaming you or anything, maybe this is the way you people think.
Actually I am having a great time reading your answers, only don’t expect anyone to agree with you.
Deep down you are very sweet.
Yes, they should get compensation and the right of return to the arab countries that they were kicked out of. This will never happen though as the world is racist against Jews and only focuses on arab refugees.
You were persecuted throughout Europe and teh Arabs have taken you in, there were never troubles until you decided to kill Palestinians and take their land away from them. Now AFTER what Israel did israel has become very unpopular in the region as well.
No, but Palestinians who left their homes and now live in Lebanon, should be compensated instead of the Jews who lost their stuff.
yeah, maybe we should declare our own nakba for when we were kicked out of the arab countries, and start bombing them until we drive them out and take our land back!!!!!
Jewish properties were confiscated in many Arab countries, in Nazi Germany, in Nazi occupied Europe, in Communist Russia and in Communist occupied Eastern Europe. The Federal Republic of Germany was the one and only country which admitted collective guilt and liability for the horrors of the Holocaust and paid some compensation to the victims. Many of those victims arrived in Palestine penny less and the new State of Israel provided them with a home. The Arabs and Muslims have billions of oil money, they control a huge land mass from North Africa to Indonesia but they do not take care of the so called Palestinian Arabs. If we want to resolve the current problem in the Middle East, the Arab countries must absorb those Arabs who claim to be homeless, or settle them in the Palestinian Arab state which is Jordan. And settle the financial issues in the same way as the Federal Republic of Germany did it, which means that the Jewish refugees from Arab countries are entitle for compensation. The only problem is that there is no Arab leader like the late Konrad Adenauer, who wanted peace with the Jewish people and asked for forgiveness.
