I don’t know, but i do suggest you get good legal representation… there wil be hoards of them wanting to screw you out of a fortune for land that doesn’t exist and properties that are not worth anywhere near what you’ll pay!!!! take care mate!!!
Id advise against it. Their governments are little unstable and bribery is a way of life. if you do actually manage to buy the property without getting completely ripped off, you will still have pay property taxes that will most likely be elevated because of your foreign status. And in the worst case they can conveniently lose all the paper work that lays your claim to it. These are just the bad scenarios, it could work out better but you will still have a hard time making a profit and something more conventional(stocks, bonds, developed country real estate) might be a better idea. What gave you the idea?
If you decide to do it you should first find a respectable real estate agency to do the searching for you, because otherwise the individuals selling the properties will ask for a higher price if they see you’re a foreigner.
Second, you shouldn’t be concerned about the local administration and bribery (unless you are planing to actually build a house).
